A report has claimed that Arsenal could consider offloading their star player and record signing Nicolas Pepe if the right offer comes in.

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to sell their club-record signing Nicolas Pepe if the right offer comes in.

The Ivorian forward joined the Gunners from Lille last year in a deal worth £72m. Fast forward to date and the attacker is yet to replicate the form he showed in Ligue 1.

According to the Daily Star, the Gunners are now ready to part ways with Pepe should the right offer come in for his services.

The report adds that Arsenal would be open to a loan with an obligation to make the move permanent as they look to garner some funds for his services.

Pepe has managed a solitary goal from eight appearances in the 2020-21 Premier League season. He is currently serving a three-match ban after head-butting Leeds United’s Ezgjan Alioski in last weekend’s goalless draw at Elland Road.

The report concludes that the Ivorian has worked very hard in training but the Gunners might now look to offload him somewhere else.
