The Gunners are on the brink of making a deadline day transfer by bringing in Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna in a big-money deal.
Arsenal have reportedly reached a €20 million agreement with Bologna to sign Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The 22-year-old, who can play at right-back or center-back, will become the third defender to arrive at the Emirates this summer after Ben White and Nuno Tavares, who cost a combined €66.5m.

According to The Guardian, Tomiyasu has accepted personal terms. The move itself is subject to medical. Arsenal will pay Bologna an initial €20m plus a further €3m in add-ons.
Tomiyasu has starred at Bologna since a €7m move from Belgian club Sint-Truiden in 2019. He has 64 appearances for the Rossoblu and has won 23 caps for Japan at international level so far.
