The Gunners secured a narrow win as they climbed up to fifth place on the league table.

Arsenal defeated Watford 1-0 in their Premier League game on Sunday. The Gunners extended their winning streak to three games as they bagged three more points.

Smith Rowe strikes again!

Arsenal dominated the possession in the first half but were not able to convert their chances. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed a penalty in the 36th minute, with Ben Foster making a tremendous save to deny him.

The Gunners finally broke the deadlock three minutes before the hour-mark. Emile Smith Rowe scored the night’s only goal for Arsenal by drilling a precise low shot.

Watford pushed hard to get the equalizer in the final twenty minutes, but they had no luck in getting past the Arsenal defence. The Hornets finished the game being down to ten men after Juraj Kucka was sent off in the 90th minute.

Arteta storms out!

After the final whistle, Mikel Arteta stormed off the pitch, refusing to shake hands with Watford boss Claudio Ranieri. The pair had a heated conversation in the game’s final minutes, which was presumably about Kucka’s red card.

Arsenal climb up to fifth place on the Premier League table with their victory against Watford. The Gunners hope to maintain consistency with their form after the international break.

On the other hand, Watford continue with their poor form under their newly-appointed coach. Having collected ten points from 11 matches, Ranieri’s side sit 17th in the Premier League.
