Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni has offered his support to Juventus star Paulo Dybala who has struggled so far this season.
Argentina boss Scaloni says Paulo Dybala is going through a difficult spell and needs support at this stage of his career.
The 26-year-old has suffered an inconsistent season so far with Andrea Pirlo preferring other options in midfield.
Injuries have not helped his plight any better and Dybala only has 173 minutes combined in the Serie A so far.
Such uncertainty has even led to talks that the player should consider a move away from the club.
On the international front, Dybala was also left out of the Argentina squad due to general genitourinary symptoms and it continues to mark what is a difficult spell for the 26-year-old.
Argentina boss Scaloni has offered words of support to the player while he faces a tough spell in his career.
“Dybala is a boy that we appreciate very much, his absence is heavy for us,” Scaloni said at a press conference as quoted by Football-Italia.
“We miss him because we need him on the field like in practice.”
“Unfortunately he is not well, I must say that it devastated our souls to see him in the conditions in which he was.”
“He’s a guy that we appreciate above and beyond the technical level.”
“Dybala is going through a difficult time and we need to be close to him.”
“We are close to him and we wait for him, as we do with everyone. I send him a hug.”
