The Turkish youngster is yet to make his debut for the Blancos.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has offered a positive injury update on Arda Guler.

The Blancos defeated Barcelona in a close transfer race to secure a €30m move for Guler. Back-to-back fitness setbacks, however, have prevented the “Turkish Messi” from making his debut under Ancelotti.

It seems that Guler has made significant progress in his rehab process during the international break.

“Arda Guler now is in great shape, still needs bit more time, maybe 10 days,” Ancelotti said on Friday.

“He wanted to start in a different way, but he is very young. He has all the time in the world to do well here. He’ll be ready soon and show his enormous talent.”

Guler’s comeback is a major squad boost for Real Madrid, who will have another creative midfielder in their ranks. The 18-year-old registered a total of 12 assists and nine goals in his 51 senior appearances for his previous club Fenerbahce.

Based on Ancelotti’s update, Guler will miss Real Madrid’s upcoming matches against Sevilla and Braga. The teenager will be ready to make his long-awaited debut for the Blancos at El Clasico on October 28.
