Spurs’ fiery attackers will look to extend their red-hot goalscoring streak when they take to the pitch for the second Europa League game.

Tottenham continue their continental journey as they prepare to take on Royal Antwerp at Bosuilstadion in Belgium on Thursday in the Europe League Group J matchday 2 fixture.

The Premier League side had to work hard for participation in the competition, having gone through three qualifying fixtures before being allotted a group.

The Belgian outfit, on the other hand, earned a direct qualification after finishing fourth in the Belgian Pro League.

Antwerp vs Tottenham Form:

Both the teams enjoyed a bright start to life in the European campaign. Spurs grabbed all three points on matchday 1, beating LASK 3-0, and so did their upcoming opponents, winning 2-1 against Ludogorets.

Attack wise, both teams are strong. However, both lack defensively. The English side have scored an impressive 24 goals in their last five games, but have managed only two clean sheets in the process. As for the Belgian team, they have scored at least two goals in their last seven games but have conceded in each of those matches.

Nevertheless, the two sides will enter the pitch with high morale. The hosts are unbeaten in their last seven games while the visitors have a slightly better streak with 10.

Antwerp vs Tottenham Head-to-head:

Thursday night will see the two teams clash against each other for the first time in history.

However, it is worth noting that Spurs are winless in their trips to Belgium so far while Antwerp have failed to win both their previous matches against English opponents.

Antwerp vs Tottenham Team News:

The hosts had two players, Dylan Batubinsika and Manuel Benson, tested positive for COVID-19 and hence both are unavailable. Bruny Nsimba’s adductor injury will keep him out of the match.

There are no major injury concerns for the visitors, with Japhet Tanganga and Eric Dier the only expected absentees. A heavy shake-up is expected by Jose Mourinho, with Gareth Bale, Erik Lamela, and Carlos Vinicius expected to start.
