Man Utd’s squad overhaul might still not be over.
Manchester United forward Antony Martial is reportedly close to leaving the club as talks regarding his future are set to take place.
According to the Mirror, the French striker has attracted interest from three clubs, namely West Ham, Inter, and Fenerbahce.
Martial’s underwhelming performances and ongoing fitness struggles have prompted United manager Erik ten Hag to consider offloading him.
This decision comes as Man Utd recently acquired Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, further diminishing Martial’s prospects within the team.
The potential departure of Martial is part of a wider squad overhaul led by Ten Hag. Several players, including David de Gea, Alex Telles, Fred, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, and Anthony Elanga, have already left the English club.
While West Ham has yet to hold formal talks with Martial, they have indicated their desire to secure his services in the current transfer window. Inter, who recently lost Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko, and Fenerbahce, who have acquired Fred from Manchester United, have also expressed their keenness to sign the French striker.
Martial’s persistent fitness issues severely limited his playing time last season, as he made only 11 starts in 38 Premier League matches.
