After scoring the equalizer against Real Madrid, Ansu Fati proved that he keeps making history and El Clasico was his most recent feat.

Ansu Fati was placed as the striker for El Clasico match against Real Madrid, he usually plays as a left-winger but today was different. Los Blancos started the game with a surprising initiative that took all Blaugranas by surprise. But Fati was the biggest surprise during the electrifying initial minutes of a historic night.

This was the first time in a while that we get to see an empty Camp Nou stadium to enjoy El Clasico. Ronald Koeman understood he needed to shake things up a little bit with his formation. This decision to move Fati from his “natural” position and leave Messi playing right behind him.

At least during the first half, it was a good decision from the Dutch manager. Fati was on point to keep making history in this precocious career of his. FC Barcelona responded to Real Madrid’s initial goal in style, all the plans Ronald Koeman had were proven right on his side’s equalizer.

Ansu Fati’s historic records.

After Federico Valverde’s opener for Real Madrid, FC Barcelona needed only three minutes to respond. Lionel Messi sent a deep pass between the lines for Jordi Alba on the right flank. Fati was already waiting inside the box for a tap-in and scored the equalizer after Alba’s cross from the left.

As it keeps happening during the start of his career, the kid keeps making history. Today, he became the youngest goal-scorer in El Clasico history at 17 years and 359 days during the modern era. He was just a few days from turning 18 and gave us another record to admire.

This makes Ansu a player who already scored for the Spanish National Team as the youngest ever, El Clasico, the only player under 17 who scored two Champions League goals, and a few more interesting records as an underage teen. What boggles our mind further is the fact that he is just getting started.
