As the rumors about his injury grew, Ansu Fati felt the need to come out and clarify everything that’s leaking to the Spanish press.

To make things even more difficult, Ansu Fati is not going through a good moment with his knee injury in recent weeks. Initially, it was believed his meniscus issue was going to leave him out of the game for three months. However, a further issue presented itself at the start of 2021 and he had to undergo surgery again. Last week, there were rumors emerging about a third surgery that would effectively leave him out for the rest of the season.

Many different versions emerged that contradicted one and other. These many rumors became a problem for the young player, who felt the pressure piling up. Finally, today he decided to speak up about the situation he is going through. Ansu Fati is going through a serious injury problem but we only needed him to confirm it. Although he didn’t offer any details about it, he did hint at the possibility of staying out of the game for the rest of the season.

Fati recalls a previous serious injury.

When he was younger in La Masia, Ansu Fati already went through a similar problem after breaking his tibia and fibula. Through an Instagram post, he compared that moment to the one he is going through today: “A few years ago I had a serious injury, a fractured tibia and fibula. I couldn’t play for almost a year. There were many days of suffering and pain, but also a lot of learning. It helped me to appreciate the little details.

“With my family and all the professionals who helped me at that time. I promised myself to keep going and work harder than ever to get back to doing what I love the most. Unfortunately, now I have to live through a similar situation, which I will face with the same mentality. I want to thank all those people who follow me and support me on a daily basis. Football is my life and no matter how many obstacles there are. I will always have the illusion of continuing to fight for my dreams… “
