The Egyptian King has been the subject of a rumored £150 million bid from Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad.

Liverpool defender Andy Robertson insists the ongoing transfer speculation has not affected Mohamed Salah, who remains the “ultimate professional.”

Despite the recent rejection of a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad, rumors continue to swirl. Liverpool may consider the matter closed, but Al-Ittihad don’t see it that way. The Saudi champions remain keen on Salah and could make an even bigger offer for the Egypt international.

With the Saudi transfer window open until Thursday, there is still time for Al-Ittihad to bid.

“Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player,” Robertson said after the club’s 3-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

“We believe that is what is going to be the case for the foreseeable future.

“He’s the ultimate professional. He does what it does, he is one of the best players in the world and he is professional. He lets other people do the talking.”

The left-back added: “For me, Mo has been Mo all week. He’s not been affected. I’ve been around him a lot and he’s not been affected by anything.”

Salah has been in top form this season, scoring and assisting in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa. He currently has two goals and two assists to his name in four Premier League games.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that the club has no intentions of letting him go.
