The Spanish striker appears to have made a final decision amid reported interest from Arsenal and Barcelona.

Alvaro Morata has reportedly decided to complete his loan spell at Juventus until the end of the season.

As Juve have no interest in turning his loan deal from Atletico Madrid into a permanent one, Morata considered a January exit. A move to Barcelona, in fact, dominated headlines for most of the month.

But while phone calls between the Spaniard and Blaugrana manager Xavi Hernandez allegedly took place, nothing has materialized.

Spanish outlet Diario AS then claimed Arsenal assistant coach, Miguel Molina, called Morata to discuss a move to London. Molina previously worked with the ex-Chelsea man at Atletico.

There was also talk of a move to Tottenham, who are coached by Morata’s former Juventus and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Morata will see out the rest of his loan deal in Turin instead. The club’s manager Massimiliano Allegri wants to pair him with new €70 million signing Dusan Vlahovic in the attack.

The 29-year-old will hope that is the case as he looks to get his season back on track.

This decision, meanwhile, increases Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s chances of joining Barcelona on loan. The Arsenal striker has arrived in Catalonia to complete a deal.
