Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has urged Arsenal to give Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang whatever he wants.

Aubameyang is in the final months of his current contract at the Emirates and uncertainty continues to surround his future.

Recent reports from the English media claim the Gabonese international has agreed a bumper three-year deal with the Gunners. However, there is no official confirmation from the club till date.

In their season opener against Fulham, Aubameyang sealed off a 3-0 win for Arsenal with a stunning strike in the second half.

A curling shot after cutting in from the flank is becoming a trademark move for the 31-year-old.

Aubmayang continues to show his importance for the club time and time over. Ex-Villa man Agbonlahor says the club must meet whatever demands to keep their captain.

“When I saw Aubameyang’s goal I thought, ‘he’s going to whip it here,” Agbonlahor told Talk Sport.

“He did it in the Community Shield too… I mean, Henry did it in every game for 10 seasons for Arsenal, but it looks like that’s Aubameyang’s trademark now.”

“It’s so important to get Aubameyang signed up; I don’t care if it’s £400,000-a-week, give him whatever he wants.”

“Without him, Arsenal have got no chance of finishing in the top six, but with him I think they have a chance of finishing in the top four.”

“I know Arsenal fans are going to get carried away but I feel like they should get carried away.”

Aubameyang has started the season in fine form and looks prime to challenge for the golden boot once again. Arsenal take on West Ham next and no doubt the Gunners captain will fancy his chances of scoring yet more goals.
