Seeing African players in Premier League action is becoming a more common trend. Legends like Didier Drogba and Jay-Jay Okocha came from the continent and did wonders, inspiring countless youngsters to follow in their footsteps.

To date, there are 46 players registered under an African nation on the Premier Leagueโ€™s official site. Only four of the 20 clubs in the English top-flight donโ€™t have a player from the continent.

Leicester City and Watford have the most African players in Premier League football as of October 2021. The two clubs have five football stars each from the continent.

Tottenham, who released Ivory Coast captain Serge Aurier from his contract in August, have joined Leeds United, Newcastle United, and Norwich City as the four clubs without a player from Africa.
