The Black Stars begin their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations campaign next Monday.

Ghana manager Milovan Rajevac has named his final 28-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The Serbian has trimmed his provisional shortlist of 30 players down to 28 by dropping AS Roma forward Felix Afena-Gyan and Clermont midfielder Salis Abdul Samed.

Ghana captain Andre Ayew will add to his 100 caps in Cameroon alongside fellow regulars Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, and Daniel Amartey.

Despite concerns over a rib problem, Ajax star Mohammed Kudus has got the all-clear to make the AFCON squad as well.

Ghana begin their pursuit of a fifth AFCON title in a friendly against Algeria on Wednesday. Then it’s straight to business, with Morocco coming up in their Group C opener next Monday. They also face Gabon on January 14 and Comoros on January 18 in the group stages.
