Wolves winger Adama Traore will have to decide his national allegiance after getting called up by Spain and Mali for the international break.
Ahead of the international break, Traore has a big decision to make in terms of his loyalties.
The 24-year-old was called up by Spain and Mali, with both countries wanting him to star in their national colors.
Traore was named in the Spain squad last month but was forced to withdraw with Covid-19 last time out. The forward once again gets another call-up from Luis Enrique.
The Wolves star was born to Malian parents and is eligible to play for both countries. He is yet to make a senior appearance for Spain, meaning he can still switch allegiance.
Daily Mail reports that Traore will have to decide fast, although it is more likely he would opt for Spain.
Having played with La Furia Roja at every level from the U-16s, the Wolves forward could have stronger ties with the Spain setup.
More so, the lure of playing alongside top global stars could further convince Traore.
However, if game-time is to be considered, Mali would be the best option for the Wolves forward.
Spain have crucial upcoming UEFA Nations League clashes against Portugal, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Elsewhere, Mali will face Ghana and Iran in two friendlies four days apart.
Traore has previously said he wanted to play for Spain and must now fully make a final decision regarding that.
