AC Milan drew 0-0 with Newcastle in their Champions League game on Tuesday. The “Group of Death” matches start with a goalless draw at San Siro.

What happened?

Milan completely dominated the game early on, creating several chances to score the opener. Samuel Chukwueze and Rafael Leao missed two golden opportunities to put the hosts ahead as Newcastle remained under pressure.

The Magpies struggled to find their feet throughout the first period but looked more in control after the break. Milan continued pushing for the match-winner. However, the Magpies managed to keep them at bay while also trying to surprise their opponents with swift counter-attacks.
