Various reports have linked the Portugal international with transfers to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni is ‘calm’ over Rafael Leao’s future at the reigning Serie A champions.

The 23-year-old winger has stirred interest from clubs across Europe following his superb performances at San Siro. His contract at AC Milan runs until June 2024, but he is in talks with the club about an extension.

“I am told that he feels good in Milan and that he is motivated,” Scaroni told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I know that [Milan technical director Paolo] Maldini is negotiating with him and as far as I just said if he negotiates, I’m calm.”

Leao has supplied 34 goals and 30 assists in 135 appearances since joining AC Milan from French side Lille in a reported €29.5 million deal.

The former Sporting CP attacker also scored two goals off the bench in Portugal’s five World Cup games. He is set to return to Milan after the Selecao’s 1-0 quarter-final defeat to Morocco on Saturday.
