Let’s take a closer look at the player ratings of today’s Europa League match between AC Milan and Sparta Prague in San Siro.

AC Milan played a very important Europa League match this evening against Sparta Prague in San Siro. Stefano Pioli is doing a fantastic job of dividing responsibilities to all his players and getting their best level of performance. Regardless of whether they have a starring role on a regular basis or not.

The AC Milan coach currently has one of the best-oiled machines in European football. During the first half, Zlatan Ibrahimovic assisted Brahim for the first goal and missed a penalty. Initially, Pioli wanted to rest the Swedish striker but Ibra agreed to only play the first half against the Czech squad. After the break, Pioli made Zlatan keep his word and rested him to give Leao some minutes.

Throughout the whole match, the best player was Brahim Diaz without question. Leaving Real Madrid helped him find his true position on the pitch and an ocean of confidence. Alongside Sandro Tonali and Samu Castillejo, Milan has a dominant midfield squad that can compete against any club in the world.

Leao and Dalot rounded AC Milan’s performance.

Both Portuguese players came back swinging from the dressing room. The forward took Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s spot on the attack and responded with flying colors. He scored the second goal of the game with an assist from Dalot. The former Manchester United player rounded AC Milan’s performance with a beautiful counter-attack effort that he finished through an assist from Bennacer.

Stefano Pioli found the perfect balance between his starring players and his substitutes. Every single one of them plays at an impressive level regardless of the time they get to shine. If they manage to win their next two matches, the Rossoneri will be able to find a way to a successful season. We consider Brahim Diaz played a perfect match this evening.
