The Major League Soccer has announced the 2023 MLS Best XI, a team of the season consisting of the league’s best players over the campaign.

This esteemed accolade acknowledges the outstanding performers in the league across various positions. The recipients are selected through a voting process involving members of the media, MLS players, and MLS club technical staff. Among the standout performers of the 2023 MLS regular season, eight players were selected for the first time.
St. Louis City SC, an expansion team, stands out with two players named to the 2023 MLS Best XI. Defender Tim Parker and MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Roman Bürki played pivotal roles in St. Louis’ remarkable inaugural season. The first-year team finished atop the Western Conference with 56 points.
In addition to St. Louis City SC, FC Cincinnati, Atlanta United, and Nashville SC also had two players each named to the Best XI.
