The Reds take on Arsenal in a crucial Premier League game this weekend.
Liverpool might struggle to contain Kai Havertz’s threat in their upcoming match against Arsenal, according to Mikael Silvestre.
Following a poor start to his debut campaign at Arsenal, Havertz has gradually regained his best form in recent weeks. The German international scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season when the Gunners reclaimed the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Brighton last Sunday.
“He’s finding his marks,” Silvestre told bettingexpert.com. “He’s getting more influence into the game and his end product is coming to a positive now. Scoring, assisting. He’s coming back to his best so Liverpool will have to deal with him and the others. I like him. He’s floating between the lines.”
Unlike the beginning of the campaign, Havertz has been deployed in a more attacking role in recent weeks. Having scored four goals in his last six appearances for the Gunners, the 24-year-old is expected to be one of Arsenal’s main goal threats against Liverpool.
The former Arsenal star added: “He can operate as a second striker. So he’s a tough one to mark because he’s very mobile and players will have to share responsibility to mark him. So he’s going to ask Liverpool’s defensive players a lot of questions.”
