Arsenal starlet score TEN goals in 14-3 thrashing of Liverpool

The Gunners have found another promising striker within their academy ranks.

Arsenal’s youth sensation, Chido Obi-Martin, delivered a remarkable performance, netting an astonishing ten goals in a dominant 14-3 victory against Liverpool.

Already making strides within higher age groups, Obi-Martin has not only impressed in under-18 outings but has also ventured into Premier League 2 and the UEFA Youth League. The 15-year-old’s stellar displays earned him a call-up to train with Arsenal’s first team under the watchful eye of manager Mikel Arteta.

Born in Glostrup, Denmark, Obi-Martin is a rising talent within Arsenal’s academy. Eligible to represent Denmark, England, and Nigeria, he has already scored seven goals in nine appearances for Denmark’s under-17 side.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has said of the teenage striker: “Chido Obi-Martin, he’s 15, honestly, he’s like 6 foot 2, he looks really quick.”

Obi-Martin’s physique also impressed his Denmark manager, Jesper Mikkelsen, who regards the Arsenal star as one of his best forwards.

“When you look at ‘Chido’, he doesn’t look like someone who hasn’t turned 16 yet. First of all, he has a physique that is really advantageous as a football player,” the manager said..

“He is big and strong, but he is also reasonably agile. He is good at sticking to the game, but he is actually also good at challenging and dribbling himself.”
