EA Sports has fixed one of the game’s worst glitches in the new update.
EA Sports has swiftly addressed major issues in EA FC 24 with the release of Title Update 4, only a few weeks after the third update. Title Update 3 brought significant changes across gameplay, Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and Clubs, with over 120 alterations. However, several new issues cropped up post-update, leading to the release of another major patch.
One notable problem resolved in Title Update 4 was a game-breaking glitch involving the Trickster Plus PlayStyle, allowing players to stick the ball to their leg and score easily. This glitch rendered the game virtually unplayable, with defenders helpless against it. The latest update has successfully eradicated this issue, promising a swift return of the Trickster Plus PlayStyle to the game.
Additionally, a penalty accuracy indicator went missing in UT Champions, leaving players to rely on luck when taking penalties. Title Update 4 primarily focuses on gameplay and Ultimate Team, introducing key updates to passing and shooting mechanics.
Title Update 4’s patch notes highlight the resolution of 59 issues, with the majority related to Ultimate Team and gameplay. Precision Passing, which was overly potent upon the game’s release, had its swerve reduced for the second time in EA FC 24’s history. A bug allowing players to assign any PlayStyle Plus to their pro in Clubs has also been addressed.
The EA FC 24 Title Update 4 delivers several changes and fixes for Ultimate Team, including the addition of an Evolutions Overhead Indicator setting in Game Settings. Notably, the penalty kick accuracy indicator, which had disappeared during penalty shootouts in Champions matches, has now been rectified.
Title Update 4 also introduces significant gameplay changes, such as reducing the amount of curve on first-time Precision Passes at extreme angles and slightly lowering the potential accuracy of acrobatic shots. Crosses from wing positions will now use the foot closest to the touchline, except for Trivela Crosses and High Crosses.
In Career Mode, press conference tutorial issues and Scout Reports for lower league clubs displaying high OVR top league players’ reports have been addressed. Some scouting instructions were missing from Career Mode, and the Brand Exposure Objective is now functioning correctly.
Clubs mode sees improvements, including the correction of limited view when playing as a goalkeeper at the StrongHER stadium and fixing PlayStyles equipped on Virtual Pros. Several other minor issues have been resolved.
In the VOLTA mode, the update has resolved problems with the Foot Golf Arcade game timer and corrupted squads in 3v3 Rush matches. Various visual and UI elements have been updated and enhanced.
EA Sports has ensured the Title Update 4 is accessible on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
