Real Madrid’s move for Jude Bellingham will mark a new era at the club, according to Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Jude Bellingham has taken La Liga by storm since arriving at Real Madrid on a €103m move in the summer. The England international has registered 11 goals and three assists in his 11 appearances for the club so far, already breaking a number of club records at Santiago Bernabeu.
The midfielder’s excellent start at Real Madrid has impressed Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is a big fan of his versatility.
Asked by AS if Bellingham is on the same level as Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, the Spaniard goalkeeper responded: “Right now, on a global level, I don’t know if I see anyone above Bellingham.
“We are all seeing what he is capable of in each game. I hope it continues like this. He is a very mature boy, with clear ideas.
“And not only do we have to take him into account for the goals, but also for the defensive work he does and for the entire field he occupies. Bellingham will mark an era in Madrid.”
Bellingham has joined England for their upcoming matches against Australia and Italy. After the international break, Real Madrid will return to action with a La Liga clash against Sevilla.
