The England international continues his wonderful start at Real Madrid.
Jude Bellingham scored twice for Real Madrid in their 4-0 victory over Osasuna on Saturday. The victory sent the Blancos to the top of the La Liga table as Bellingham increased his goal tally for the club to ten.
The former Borussia Dortmund star opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the ninth minute. Another early goal, this time nine minutes into the second period, saw Bellingham double his side’s lead. Two more goals from Vinicius Junior and Joselu completed the hosts’ fantastic display in their last game before the international break.
Bellingham will link up with England after equaling a legendary record at Real Madrid. The 20-year-old is the only player besides Cristiano Ronaldo who has scored ten goals in his first ten matches for the club.
Carlo Ancelotti had to jokingly remind everyone that “Bellingham is not a striker” after the game. He added: “He’s a midfielder. Goals are not everything.
“No one expected him to score all this goals. His season is incredible. The fact he hasn’t a fixed position on the pitch allows him to be even better.”
Real Madrid will play against Sevilla in their first game after the international break on October 21. Before then, Bellingham will join England for their upcoming matches against Australia and Italy.
