The Serie A giants are both keen to add Folarin Balogun to their ranks this summer.

Inter have reportedly joined AC Milan in the transfer race to sign Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun.

The Gunners have put the striker on their sale list after his fantastic loan spell at Reims. Last season, Balogun registered 21 goals and three assists in his 37 appearances for the French side.

According to the Independent, Inter are leading the race to sign the 22-year-old ahead of the next campaign. Having called off their efforts to sign Romelu Lukaku, the Nerazzurri consider Balogun as one of their main transfer targets.

Arsenal have already added Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber to their squad this summer. But it seems the Gunners are keen to stay active in the transfer market by raising more funds through player sales.

The Gunners reportedly hope to sell Kieran Tierney and Balogun for around £70m (€82m). Their next targets are Mohammed Kudus and Romeo Lavia, who could provide Mikel Arteta with more options in midfield.

Earlier this week, the Athletic claimed that Balogun trained separately from his teammates during Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the U.S. Let’s see if the offers from Inter and Milan will be enough for the Gunners to sell the USMNT star.
