The Blues have unveiled the kit they will wear in all of their home games at Stamford Bridge for the 2023/24 campaign.
Chelsea have unveiled their Nike home kit for the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The design incorporates white and gold with the traditional royal blue, drawing inspiration from the shirt worn in 1997/98. The club won the League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup that season, with legends Gianfranco Zola, Dennis Wise, and Roberto Di Matteo on the team.
The kit will likely incorporate a sponsor logo in the future, but for now does not have one. The lion on the shirt symbolizes Chelsea’s prestige and history. The kit will also be worn by Emma Hayes’ double-winning side in the Women’s Super League.
New head coach Mauricio Pochettino will lead the Chelsea men’s team in the upcoming 2023/24 season. The Argentine will take charge of his first game on July 19 in a pre-season friendly. The Blues will take on League Two newcomers Wrexham in the Florida Cup at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in North Carolina, the United States.
The 1997/98 season was the first time Chelsea won multiple trophies in a single campaign in the club's history.
