The Blancos have shown interest in adding the Canadian star to their ranks this summer.
Alphonso Davies could imagine retiring at Bayern Munich despite Real Madrid being keen to sign him this summer.
Since joining the Bavarians in 2018, Davies has established a reputation as one of the best full-backs in European football. The Canadian star’s explosive runs and physicality have attracted interest from a number of elite sides, with Real Madrid being the latest club to pursue his signature.
Asked about the possibility of him staying at Bayern until the end of his career, Davies told TSN Soccer: “Yeah, if it comes down to it, I don’t see why not.
“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. They’ve great players. We saw many legends come and go.”
“It’s truly an amazing feeling to be able to play for a club like this. Going forward, I just wanna be part of that and give my all for the club.”
Bayern started their negotiations with Davies’ camp over a contract renewal last season. However, according to the defender’s agent, talks have stalled since Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic’s departure from the club.
Speaking about Real Madrid’s interest in signing his client, Nedal Huoseh said: “I’ve always been a big fan of Real Madrid, as a fan in general, you know 14 Champions Leagues. It makes you proud when you see someone you manage linked with Real Madrid.
“There is nothing concrete with any club, one club has to want to sell, another has to initiate talks, and then the player has to want to leave.”
