Man Utd revive interest in signing Serie A midfielder for free
Manchester United have set their sights on signing Adrien Rabiot from Juventus on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old midfielder’s contract in Turin runs out this summer. United almost signed him last year. They agreed on an initial £15 million fee with Juventus, but the deal fell apart as Rabiot allegedly desired an ‘obscene’ salary. [L’Equipe – in French]
Pochettino to sign a three-year Chelsea deal
Mauricio Pochettino appears all set to become the next Chelsea manager.
The 51-year-old Argentine has accepted personal terms and will fly to London from Barcelona to sign an initial three-year contract this week. He then intends to begin planning for the next season. [Telegraph – subscription required]

Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan is nearing a free transfer to Barcelona.
The 32-year-old midfielder is willing to take a pay cut in exchange for a longer contract.
