The Dortmund midfielder is one of the most in-demand players in European football.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly planning to increase Jude Bellingham’s wages as they push to keep him at the club.

Bellingham has developed into one of the most promising midfielders in Europe since joining the German giants in 2020. His performances have earned him a regular spot in England’s starting lineup, with several clubs looking to prize him away from Dortmund.

The German club are, however, eager to keep Bellingham ahead of the next season.

According to Jan Aage Fjørtoft, the Black and Yellows will pay the midfielder €15m per season if he agrees to sign a contract renewal. The ESPN journalist claims the club believe they have a “50/50” chance of keeping Bellingham at the club.

In February, a report from the Athletic named Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain as the clubs interested in signing Bellingham.

Convincing Bellingham to sign a contract extension at Signal Iduna Park won’t be easy for Dortmund.

However, the German giants are not under pressure to sell him as his current deal runs until 2025. The Black and Yellows have reportedly put a £132m (€150m) price tag on Bellingham ahead of the next summer.
