Mikel Arteta’s men avenged their loss against Everton with a fantastic display on home soil.

Arsenal defeated Everton 4-0 in their Premier League game on Wednesday. The Gunners dominated the game to claim a crucial victory on home soil.

Martinelli steals the show!

Arsenal were sloppy with their opportunities early on, while Everton effectively defended the hosts’ attacks.

However, the Gunners managed to increase the pressure on Everton’s backline as the first half went on. Following a brilliant through ball from Oleksandr Zinchenko, Bukayo Saka made it 1-0 for the hosts in the 40th minute.

Only a minute later, the Gunners doubled their lead through Gabriel Martinelli.

This time, Saka sat up his teammate for the goal with a short pass behind the box. The Brazilian striker then completed the one-on-one situation to make it 2-0 just before the break.

Everton tried to mount a comeback at the beginning of the second half. However, Arsenal managed to keep them at bay with quick counter-attacks.

The Gunners finally secured their victory when Martin Odegaard scored their third goal of the night in the 71st minute. But that didn’t stop Arsenal from staying on the offensive.

Following a cutback from Eddie Nketiah, Martinelli completed his brace from close range to make it 4-0 for the hosts in the 80th minute.

The Gunners came close to extending their lead later on but had to settle for the 4-0 win. Arteta’s side maintain their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City.

The Gunners will take on Bournemouth in their next league game on Saturday.
