The Red Devils returned to winning ways by claiming a hard-fought victory over Leeds.

Manchester United defeated Leeds United in their Premier League game on Sunday. A thrilling game saw the Red Devils claim the three points with two late goals.

Rashford strikes again!

Similar to the two side’s previous game on Wednesday, Leeds found a brilliant start to the match.

The peacocks came close to scoring twice, with David de Gea making a perfect leg save to deny Patrick Bamford an early opener.

Man Utd gradually found their feet in the game but lacked enough attacking edge to break the deadlock.

After the break, Leeds went on the offensive again, creating a number of unsuccessful goalscoring attempts. This time, however, Man Utd’s response was much stronger.

The Red Devils increased the pressure on Leeds’ backline after the hour-mark. After several missed chances, Marcus Rashford finally broke the deadlock in the 80th minute.

Following a cross from Luke Shaw, the England international made it 1-0 for his side with a brilliant header.

The Red Devils then used their momentum to score another one only five minutes later. Alejandro Garnacho scored his second Premier League goal of the season to seal United’s victory.

Erik ten Hag’s side now sit five points behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.
