The Red Devils were not able to build on their last week’s win over Everton.

Manchester United drew 0-0 against Newcastle in their Premier League game on Sunday. The Red Devils missed a host of chances in the second half to give their opponents a deserved point.

United fail to enter top four!

A crucial win over Everton saw Cristiano Ronaldo score his Premier League goal of the season last week.

Erik ten Hag returned the Portuguese superstar to his starting lineup. But his side struggled to find their feet in the game early on.

Newcastle were the better team throughout the first half, creating a few serious chances to open the scoring.

However, Ten Hag’s men looked much better as soon as the second period started. Pressure mounted on Newcastle’s defence line on both sides, but Man Utd couldn’t convert their chances.

Marcus Rashford, who replaced Ronaldo for the final 20 minutes, missed an excellent chance to win the game for United in the final minute.

The draw keeps Man Utd at the fifth spot on the league table as they, once again, fail to enter the top four. The Red Devils must now prepare to lock horns with Tottenham in their next league game on Wednesday.
