The Citizens return to the Premier League to play their last game before the upcoming international break.

Pep Guardiola admits uncertainty over Kyle Walker’s fitness ahead of Manchester City’s match against Wolves.

The England international suffered an injury during City’s 1-1 draw against Aston Villa two weeks ago. He missed his side’s narrow win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, with Guardiola admitting he might stay sidelined against Wovles too.

“Kyle (Walker) is getting better but I am not sure if tomorrow he will be ready,” the Spaniard said.

“We will see in training this afternoon this afternoon.”

City played without the defensive pair of Walker and Aymeric Laporte against Dortmund. Laporte is yet to make his first appearance for City this season after undergoing knee surgery in May.

“Aymeric (Laporte) is back in training but is not ready,” Guardiola added.

The Citizens hope to return to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Wolves at Molineux. But Guardiola knows his side are up for a difficult task.

“It is a completely different team to the previous seasons,” said the Spaniard.

“They used to play five at the back with Conor Coady, now they play with four.

“I am really impressed with how they play. Their position in the table is because football is unpredictable and sometimes you don’t get what you deserve.

“They have a lot of good things, like central defenders making a good process, they have incredible runners and a lot of talent.

“(They are) one of the toughest teams we have faced in recent seasons and we have to be prepared because they had all week to prepare for this game.”
