The Norwegian star scored a late winner against his former side.
Erling Haaland has reacted to his brilliant performance against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Manchester City came back from behind to beat the German giants 2-1 on home soil.
Following Jude Bellingham’s opener for the guests, City had to wait until the 80th minute to find the back of the net.
John Stones scored a wild stunner from behind the box before Haaland sealed the victory with an acrobatic shot four minutes later.
“They didn’t stop me, I scored!,” Haaland told BT Sport.
“But yeah, they played well and they were good, and I was quite sure I was going to be followed all game because they know me very well.
“Dortmund were really good today, and in the end, the three points is what matters.”
He added: “Yeah, two wonderful goals today. I think mine was a bit better, honestly.”
Haaland has found a fantastic start to his Man City career since joining them earlier this summer.
The former Dortmund star has scored three goals in two Champions League appearances while registering ten goals in his first six Premier League matches.
The Citizens will return to action when they face Wolves on Saturday.
