The Germany international has joined the Spanish and European champions on a free transfer from Chelsea.
Real Madrid have officially unveiled defender Antonio Rudiger as their latest summer signing.
The 29-year-old has signed a contract with Carlo Ancelotti’s side until June 2026. He arrives as a free agent, having reached the end of his contract at Chelsea, and will don the No.22 jersey in Madrid.
Spanish midfielder Isco, who will leave Los Blancos this summer for free himself, was the last player to use this squad number.

Rudiger makes a promise
“This is a very special day for my family and for me,” Rudiger said at his official presentation.
“I’d like to thank my parents because, without them, I never would have gotten here. They have always supported me, and that’s been hugely important throughout my life.
“I’d also like to thank the president [Florentino Perez] for giving me the chance to play for this great club. I can promise you I’ll give my all for this club to win every possible trophy.”
Rudiger could feature in the famous white Madrid jersey for the first time on July 24 when Los Blancos take on Barcelona in a pre-season friendly in Las Vegas, the United States.
