The Polish striker has already made it clear he won’t sign a new deal at Bayern.

Robert Lewandowski has admitted ‘it is hard to say’ that he will play for Bayern Munich next season.

The Polish striker announced he would not renew his contract at Bayern earlier this month. However, his current deal at Allianz Arena runs until the next year.

Bayern chief Oliver Kahn has repeatedly insisted the striker will fulfil his deal at the club. However, Lewandowski himself thinks the situation is more complicated.

“I think the time will come soon to give more information about it,” Lewandowski told Sky Germany“I’ll be able to say more about it soon.”

He added: “It depends on several factors. I think my situation is clear and there’s no point in talking about it. It’s hard to say if I will still play for Bayern next season.”

Barcelona are frontrunners to sign Lewandowski this summer, with Spanish outlets claiming Xavi Hernandez has already spoken to the Poland international about his plans for the next season.

Bayern are also facing the prospect of losing Serge Gnabry in their front line. The Bavarians are reportedly keen to add Sadio Mane to their ranks this summer. However, according to The Athletic, the Senegalese star has not made a final decision on his next club.
