The La Liga giants are trying to bolster their attacking line for next season by signing Lewandowski.
Barcelona like Robert Lewandowski a lot but accept he has a contract with Bayern Munich, according to Joan Laporta.
The club’s president gave a realistic update on Barca’s pursuit of Lewandowski after reports emerged claiming Xavi Hernandez’s side had tabled an initial €32 million bid to the striker’s club, Bayern Munich.
Robert Lewandowski has not changed his mind, as of today. He wants Barcelona and he's not even in talks with any other club – just waiting for Bayern to make final decision and find potential replacement. 🇵🇱 #FCB

Lewandowski has one year left on his contract at the German champions and has no intention to sign an extension.
“He has a year left on his Bayern Munich contract and that is the situation,” Laporta told L’Esportiu about Barcelona’s interest in Lewandowski.
“I can’t say more than that. We will let everyone get on with their work. He is a top-quality player, one that we like a lot as well, but he has a contract.”
Lewandowski has recorded 344 goals and 72 assists in 374 appearances across an eight-year spell at Bayern Munich.
