The French striker, who was on the verge of joining Real Madrid last summer, is on the verge of extending his PSG contract.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has criticized Paris Saint-Germain for their ‘huge’ renewal offer to Kylian Mbappe.

The French star’s lengthy transfer saga is nearing its final stages, with several sources confirming he will stay at Parc des Princes.

The move is a huge blow to Real Madrid, who has been pursuing Mbappe’s signature for more than a year. Last summer, the World Cup winner was on the verge of moving to Real Madrid.

However, the French giants have reportedly convinced their star striker to stay at the club with a record-breaking financial package.

The French side’s success in keeping Mbapp has outraged Tebas, who has compared it to the Super League project.

“What PSG are doing by renewing with Mbappe for a huge amount of money (who knows where and how it’ll be paid) after announcing losses of 700M in the last few seasons and having a wage burden of 600M is an INSULT to football,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Al-Khelafi (sic) is as dangerous as the Super League,” he further fumed.

PSG are yet to officially announce Mbappe’s stay.
