Paul Pogba has opened up on his stance on joining the Parisians at some point in his career.
Paul Pogba is spending the final months of his current contract at Old Trafford, with no signs of a renewal being imminent. The Manchester United star has attracted interest from several clubs in recent months. However, his high wage demands have proved to be problematic for some of his suitors.
Paris Saint-Germain are among the few clubs that might be willing to fulfill Pogba’s financial demands. The Frenchman has admitted he is open to joining the Parisians at some point in his career.
Asked by Le Figaro on the possibility of moving to Parc des Princes, Pogba responded:
“Why not?” he told Le Figaro. “It’s always nice to play with your team-mates in the national team and club.”
Earlier this week, Pogba gave the indication that he might look for a move away from Old Trafford in June.
“[Didier Deschamps] gave me a role that I know [for France], but, at Manchester United, do I really have a role? I ask the question and I don’t have the answer,” he said.
“I have much more playing time [with France], the system is different than at club level. In fact, it’s simple, with Les Bleus, I play, and moreover, in my position. I know my role, I feel the confidence of the coach and the players.”
After the international break, Manchester United will return to Premier League action by facing Leicester City on April 2.
