The Wolves winger passed his medical on Friday and visited the club facilities ahead of his loan move to Camp Nou.

Adama Traore is ‘very happy’ to return to Barcelona as he edges closer to completing a loan move from Wolves.

While an official announcement is yet to be made, all signs indicate a deal is imminent. Traore had a medical on Friday and visited the club’s training base, the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, afterward.

The 26-year-old confirmed everything was all set as he left the El Prat airport in Barcelona before doing his medical.

“I am very happy to return to Barca,” he told TV3 while walking out of the airport.

What are the terms of Traore’s deal?

The former Barca youngster reunites with his boyhood club on a loan deal until the end of the season from Wolves.

Barcelona have an option to make the deal permanent in the summer. It could reportedly cost the club around €30 million, although this option is not mandatory.

According to Diario Sport, if Xavi’s side decide to make the deal permanent, Traore will sign a four-year contract until June 2026.

Should everything go to plan, the Spain international could make his second debut in Barcelona’s clash against top-four rivals Atletico Madrid in LaLiga on February 6.
