Juventus are keen to add Aleksandar Mitrovic to their ranks this winter.
Juventus are struggling to get back among the Serie A frontrunners this season. The Bianconeri are currently fifth in the league, 12 points behind leaders Inter.
Having scored only 27 goals, Juventus have the worst attacking performance among the top-eight teams. The Bianconeri are eyeing a shock move for a Championship player to bolster their attacking unit.
According to 90min, Juventus are keen to make a move for Aleksandar Mitrovic in January.
Having scored 22 goals in 22 games, Mitrovic is enjoying great form this season. The Serbian striker is Championship’s top-scorer, playing a major role in Fulham’s promotion plans. However, the club might have to look for replacements for the rest of the season as it would not be easy to reject an offer from the Serie A giants.
The Club signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Mitrovic in August, making him the highest-paid in the Championship. The player reportedly loves to continue his career at Fulham. However, he might change his mind as elite clubs are now inquiring about him.
Juventus are currently his main suitors. The Bianconeri are keen to sign Mitrovic as soon as possible as they want to avoid competition.
The Serie A giants are also eyeing a move for another Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic. However, signing Vlahovic might be challenging for Juve. In addition to having several suitors, Vlahovic plays for Fiorentina, who have a bad relationship with Juventus. La Dea accused Juve of ‘stealing’ Federico Chiesa in 2020 and will not easily sell a player to the Bianconeri.
Following a victory against Cagliari on Tuesday, Juventus will face Napoli in a crucial league battle on January 6.
