Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has been linked with the possibility of signing for the Manchester United job after Solskjaer’s exit.
Brendan Rodgers has cleared the air regarding his links to Manchester United after being part of speculations for the managerial job at Old Trafford.
The Foxes boss guided his team to FA Cup glory last season and was named as one of the managers on the Red Devils’ list to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, Rodgers confirmed that he is completely happy to be at the King Power Stadium and denied any links to Man Utd.
Ahead of their must-win Europa League game against Legia Warsaw on Thursday, the former Liverpool boss talked about the rumours.
Rodgers said: “I don’t take it as anything, it’s not real. There’s always gossip and that will be there until they appoint a full-time manager.”
“My commitment is to here. The culture here is about the development of the players. And that’s where I see it, even more so in this period.”
