As Arsenal struggle for goals under Mikel Arteta, Thomas Partey showed off his prowess in front of the goal with an excellent solo effort for Ghana.
Thomas Partey offered Arsenal fans a glimpse of what he can do with an excellent goal in Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.
Goalscoring isn’t exactly Partey’s forte, but the 28-year-old proved he can rise to the challenge. On Saturday, he dribbled into the box before firing the ball into the low corner of the Zimbabwe goal. His effort restored Ghana’s lead on route to a convincing 3-1 win.

Incidentally, Partey is yet to score a goal for Arsenal in 38 appearances.
Yet, with the Gunners scoring just five goals in seven Premier League games this season, the former Atletico Madrid man showed what he could do in a more advanced role in midfield.
Partey and Ghana return to action next Tuesday for another World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe. The Black Stars need to win again to keep the pressure on Group G leaders South Africa to progress to the next round.
