It was Robert Lewandowski who came out on top in the goalscorer’s battle. The Pole scored a sublime 35 goals in just 34 games to claim a seventh Golden Boot award in Germany. He finished 11 goals clear of Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick.

Just like last season, Thomas Muller produced a monstrous amount of assists. The Bayern Munich star set up his teammates 18 times, which was five times more than his nearest rival Christopher Nkunku of RB Leipzig.
What about the league standings?
Bayern Munich, meanwhile, clinched a 10th straight Bundesliga title this season by finishing eight points clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund in the standings. Leverkusen and Leipzig completed the top four.
