BVB repeatedly came from behind to walk away with all three points at the end of an action-packed 90 minutes at the BayArena.

Borussia Dortmund came out on top in a thrilling seven-goal contest against Bayern Leverkusen in Bundesliga on Saturday.

Dortmund beat Leverkusen 4-3, with Erling Haaland playing a crucial role in their comeback victory.

Haaland had a hand in three of his side’s four goals as he scored twice and set up another. The Norwegian sensation leveled the scoreline with a towering header after Florian Wirtz had opened the scoring inside the first 10 minutes.

He then set up Julian Brandt, who scored early in the first half to once again put BVB on level terms after Patrik Schick had put the hosts ahead in first-half stoppage time.

The 21-year-old marksman had the final say in the match as he scored the winning goal from the penalty spot at minute 77 after Leverkusen had yet again grabbed the lead through Moussa Diaby and Raphael Guerreiro had yet again equalized with a superb free-kick.

Haaland, who scored a hat-trick in his previous match for Norway, has now taken his tally for the season up to five goals and four assists in just four Bundesliga games and eight goals and four assists in only six games across all competitions.
