After Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, Juventus have re-signed the academy graduate to reinforce their attacking options.

Moise Kean has rejoined Juventus in an initial two-year loan deal from Everton.

The 21-year-old, who left the Turin-based outfit in 2019 for Everton in a €28 million deal, returns after a disappointing spell in England. He scored just four goals in 39 appearances. That said, he impressed on loan at Paris Saint-Germain last season.

Now Juventus have opted to bring Kean back on a two-year loan deal after Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit. As part of the deal, the Bianconeri must sign him permanently for €28m in 2023.

“Juventus Football Club announces that it has reached an agreement with Everton for the acquisition, on a temporary basis until 30 June 2023, of the player Moise Kean,” read a club statement.

“The agreement provides for the obligation on the part of Juventus to definitively acquire the right to the player upon achieving certain sporting objectives during the 2022-23 season. The agreed consideration for the acquisition is €28m, payable in three financial years. In addition, cumulative bonuses of up to €3m upon the achievement of further objectives.”

Kean could make his second Juventus debut away to Napoli on September 12 in Serie A.
