After a superb start of the season for Manchester United, Paul Pogba has set himself an ambitious assists target.
Paul Pogba has one eye cast on claiming the most assists for the 2021/22 season to win the Premier League’s Playmaker award.
The France international has registered a record five assists in Manchester United’s opening two games of the campaign, more than any Premier League player has ever accomplished.

His superb form has helped maintain an unbeaten start as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side chase title glory, which is his first priority.
“Which assist means the most to me? The next one. The next one, hopefully,” Pogba told MUTV.
“It’s true that it’s been very nice to get those assists, but then you want to finish [as] the top assister of the league. You want to win something in the end, so all this will mean something with a trophy. It won’t mean anything without a trophy. I’m focused on that; I’m focused on giving my best on the pitch and hopefully, I can get many more.”
Pogba is set to return to action on Sunday as United take a trip to Molineux for a Premier League match against Wolves.
