Romelu Lukaku has played down the possibility of moving to Manchester City saying he is happy at Inter Milan.
Lukaku arrived at Inter Milan after a not-so-productive spell at Manchester United. He was criticized for his poor finishing and sloppy first-touch throughout his stay at Old Trafford.
During his two years in Italy so far, however, he has been able to mould his reputation as one of the best attackers in the world, with finishing and hold-up play being two of his finest attributes.
A move back to Manchester, this time to the Red Devils’ noisy neighbors, has been mooted for the Belgian marksman. Inter’s willingness to sell key players in times of financial instability and Man City being in need of a new striker following Sergio Aguero’s departure are the driving forces for those speculations.
The 28-year-old Belgian, though, is not very enthusiastic about joining Pep Guardiola’s side, judging by his reply on a relevant question during a Q&A session on Twitter.
Lukaku, however, would be interested in moving to the American MLS at some point in the future.
Asked which team he would join in the MLS, the Inter striker replied: “One of the NYC teams or LA teams. Miami I didn’t forget about you.”
