Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest business venture has seen him open a brand new hotel outside of Portugal for the first time in Madrid.
The ‘Pestana CR7 hotel’ officially opened its doors for business on Monday in Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo already owns two hotels in his hometown of Funchal on the island of Madeira and in Lisbon. They’ve been a big success and now he has opened his first hotel away from Portugal.
Madrid’s Gran Via ‘Pestana CR7’ began business on Monday as Spain’s COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease. The hotel reportedly required a €13 million investment. It contains 168 rooms across 10 floors.
A bar-terrace, sports bar, pizzeria, a swimming pool, and a rooftop with spectacular views of Spain’s capital city are included.
The hotel building is described as ‘baroque architecture of the 17th century with a sophisticated decor and the amenities of the 21st century.’
Ronaldo has offered a 41% discount to travelers interested in staying at his new hotel. The price for a room starts at €80 per night.
The Juventus star has plans to open more hotels in New York, Marrakech, and Paris in the future. Below are some pictures of Ronaldo’s new hotel in the Spanish capital.
