Karim Benzema has opened up on reports linking France teammate Kylian Mbappe with a summer move to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is hopeful that Kylian Mbappe will join him in the Spanish capital ‘one day’.
The 22-year-old is out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain next year. He remains undecided on his future plans, sparking speculation of a potential exit in the summer transfer window.
Mbappe, who idolized Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo as a youngster, would reportedly favor a move to Spain in the future.
“Mbappe at Real? We’ll see what happens,” Benzema told M6.
“But in any case, he is welcome in Madrid. He has all the qualities to be a Real Madrid player, one day I hope.”
Benzema will play alongside Mbappe for the first time this summer after his six-year exile from the French national team ended this month.
Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps has selected the Real Madrid star in his squad for this summer’s European Championship.
